Oway Botanical & Scalp Treatment

Oway Botanical Treatment: The Oway Botanical Treatment is the perfect opening ritual dedicated to the preparation and purification of the scalp. Just as soil is carefully prepared before sowing and nourished after each agricultural cycle to maintain its vitality and fertility, the scalp—and consequently, the hair—needs to be purified and prepared to receive specific treatments.

Oway Scalp Treatments: Our Oway Scalp Treatment component is uniquely customised to address various scalp concerns, including oily, dandruff-prone, sensitive (such as psoriasis), and thinning hair scalps.

In this supremely decadent phase, Lyndle will perform not one but two hair baths, followed by a multi-faceted scalp massage using both traditional and non-traditional techniques and modalities. This phase is designed to immerse you in pure indulgence. Next, you'll receive a bespoke scalp treatment, accompanied by even more massage.

To conclude, Lyndle will finish with a dry offf or you can opt for a blow dry and style at an extra $50 simply let Lyndle know before booking to add in the time.

Head Spa FAQs

Our Head Spa is a unique and transformative experience that uses exclusively natural and organic ingredients. The treatment focuses on rejuvenating the scalp through various techniques, including scalp massage, deep conditioning, aromatherapy, and hot towel/steam treatments.
Please plan to spend an extra 30 minutes for consultation and follow-up. For example, if you’ve booked a 60-minute Signature Session, you should allocate a total of 90 minutes at my Space.
Currently, my private Head Spa room accommodates only one client at a time. To accommodate both of you, we would need to schedule separate appointments either consecutively or at different times/dates. As Lyndle works very intuitive working one on one gets the best results for you.
A blowout is not included with the Head Spa. We typically hand-dry the hair after the treatment. If you would like to leave with a style, we can add a blow dry on, and even makeup so you don't feel naked going into the world.
Our ingredients are safe for all types of treated hair. However, if you’ve had any chemical treatments within the past week, there’s a chance that the color or keratin may lift during the detoxing process. We recommend waiting at least a week after any chemical treatment before your Head Spa, and similarly, waiting a week after your Head Spa before any new chemical treatments.
Yes, our specialist is skilled in treating all hair types, including thin, fragile, thick, coarse, wavy, curly, and even bald. The primary focus is on the scalp, so as long as you have a scalp, we can perform the Head Spa. However, we cannot service clients with extensions, braids, or sew-ins, as these obstruct access to the scalp.
Our Head Spa uses entirely organic and natural ingredients, making it generally safe for pregnant clients. However, some herbs and oils, such as lavender, might be a concern during pregnancy. We recommend consulting your doctor to identify any substances you should avoid. Additionally, clients are required to lie flat on their backs for the duration of the service, which may be uncomfortable during pregnancy. If this position is not suitable for you, it might be best to wait until after delivery to enjoy the Head Spa.
